No: Deletion syndromes such as you are describing on your child are coded genetically, not from not having enough of a nutrient. They can also be caused from certain drugs or toxic environmental exposures. Would talk to geneticist or fetal medicine specialist about risk for future children having same problem. Things like reason for first c/section, type of incision, previous obstetric history to name a few.
