Pregnancy Test After Frozen Embryo Transfer
Pregnancy post ET: It is not uncommon to have a little delay of starting a pregnancy after fresh or frozen et. But if you wait 2 weeks post transfer you should be able to tell. I have used tens before and after et according to the literature from china, and it seems to be increasing the pregnancy rate. If you are close to the ny area I suggest you schedule a consultation.
Embryo transfer (also et, set. Fet, etc) refers to placing one or more human embryo (s) (multi-cell or blastocyst) into the uterus of a woman trying to become pregnant. Et is the final step in an ivf cycle, and is done in some other circumstances as well. It is extremely safe, mostly comfortable, and usually not technically difficult. Experts agree on its importance, but ...Read more
When is the earliest that I can test for a home pregnancy test after a 3 days frozen embryo transfer?
Patience...: Patience is a virtue that all parents should seek. It is most valuable for raising children. A urine pregnancy test done correctly should give a reliable result on 2-3 weeks later (making it unlikely to be a false negative if it is negative). Hopefully, it will be a positive, but there should be no need to give it another thought until then.
No!: That's too early for a reliable test, ask your ivf doctor when he/she wants the test.
I had my embryo transfer on 11/29/2012 I took I pregnancy test on the 12/1/2012 it was positive and another on 12/4/2012 that was a negative why?
Trigger shot gave +: The first pregnancy test you took was too soon after the embryo transfer - it was probably positive from the HCG 'trigger shot' that you took before your egg retrieval (hcg is pregnancy hormone). The second test on 12/4 is too soon after transfer to get a positive. If you had a blastocyst transfer you should wait 9 days post transfer before taking a pregnancy test. Talk to your clinic. Best wishes.See 1 more doctor answer
Hi. I am six days post 5-day embryo transfer and took a First Response pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. What are chances I could still be pregnant?
Too early to give up: You may still be too early to see a positive urine test. In the absence of any bleeding it is premature to draw any conclusions.
Had 5 day embryo transfer on 30/08/14. Today my urine pregnancy test negative. How far is the chance of me being pregnant?
Still good: I would not necessarily expect the pregnancy test to be positive yet. If you aren't bleeding, that is a good sign.
16 day of embryo transfer and negative result I did the urine home pregnancy test and was in the evening not the morning. Could I still be pregnant?
15 days following embryo transfer I had a ve pregnancy test followed by 2 negatives at day 17 19 I have not had a period could I still be pregnant my clinic advised me to stop all meds but I m scared to do so?
Doubtful, sorry: It's still possible but very unlikely, I'm sorry. With an embryo transfer the dating is absolute, and 15 days after transfer is more time than necessary for the test to be positive. You should trust your clinic and talk with them about your concerns...Sorry about the disappointing cycle.See 1 more doctor answer
I am 14 days post 3 day embryo transfer, got blood test tomorrow. Did home pregnancy test and its positive. Am I pregnant?
Yes: You are nearly certain of being pregnant. The blood test tomorrow is very important as well, so be sure to keep up with that.
My embryo transfer took place 2 week back & now I have taken the hCG test for which the hCG level is 32.16, does this indicate the pregancy?
Little low: Its positive yes but seems low based on the timing you indicated. Talk to your doctor and they will have you repeat it to get a better answer!

I had a frozen embryo transfer on June 18. Today I took a home pregnancy and it was negative. Is there any chance I can be pregnant?
Not good: It's not a good sign, but you need to check with your RE.
My first transfer resulted in ectopic pregnancy. Is there anything I could do to avoid this from happening in my upcoming frozen embryo transfer?
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Freezing is to mean turning liquid into solid form by lowering the temperature. Water begins to freeze at 32 degree f or 0 degree celsius. Freezing reduces the movement of the substance/object--solid. Also commonly used in daily communication--police says to a perpetraitor "freeze" and hopefully the bad boy/girl stays solid/still (just for fun :-)). Have ...Read more
