How early can I do a pregnancy test after frozen embryo transfer?

How early can I do a pregnancy test after frozen embryo transfer?

Pregnancy post ET: It is not uncommon to have a little delay of starting a pregnancy after fresh or frozen et. But if you wait 2 weeks post transfer you should be able to tell. I have used tens before and after et according to the literature from china, and it seems to be increasing the pregnancy rate. If you are close to the ny area I suggest you schedule a consultation.

Embryo Transfer (Definition)

Embryo transfer (also et, set. Fet, etc) refers to placing one or more human embryo (s) (multi-cell or blastocyst) into the uterus of a woman trying to become pregnant. Et is the final step in an ivf cycle, and is done in some other circumstances as well. It is extremely safe, mostly comfortable, and usually not technically difficult. Experts agree on its importance, but ...Read more

When is the earliest that I can test for a home pregnancy test after a 3 days frozen embryo transfer?

When is the earliest that I can test for a home pregnancy test after a 3 days frozen embryo transfer?

Patience...: Patience is a virtue that all parents should seek. It is most valuable for raising children. A urine pregnancy test done correctly should give a reliable result on 2-3 weeks later (making it unlikely to be a false negative if it is negative). Hopefully, it will be a positive, but there should be no need to give it another thought until then.

How long before taking a home pregnancy test after a blastocyst frozen cycle embryo transfer?

How long before taking a home pregnancy test after a blastocyst frozen cycle embryo transfer?

Embryo transfer: Your infertility specialist will no doubt be keen to get an early pregnancy test to see if implantation has occurred. In general, a home test should be positive 7-10 days post transfer.

No!: That's too early for a reliable test, ask your ivf doctor when he/she wants the test.

Negative pregnancy test 9 days post frozen embryo transfer and white discharge. Could I still be pregnant?

Could be: It takes an embryo about 2 weeks to make enough HCG for a positive pregnancy test. You may wish to repeat the test in 5-6 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.

I had my embryo transfer on 11/29/2012 I took I pregnancy test on the 12/1/2012 it was positive and another on 12/4/2012 that was a negative why?

I had my embryo transfer on 11/29/2012 I took I pregnancy test on the 12/1/2012 it was positive and another on 12/4/2012 that was a negative why?

Trigger shot gave +: The first pregnancy test you took was too soon after the embryo transfer - it was probably positive from the HCG 'trigger shot' that you took before your egg retrieval (hcg is pregnancy hormone). The second test on 12/4 is too soon after transfer to get a positive. If you had a blastocyst transfer you should wait 9 days post transfer before taking a pregnancy test. Talk to your clinic. Best wishes.

Had embryo transfer on 30/08/14. My urine pregnancy test negative today. How are the chances of me being pregnant?

Embryo transfer: It may still be early for the embryo to implant and raise HCG level enough for a positive urine pregnancy test. Give it at least a month, if the test is still negative then repeat it in the blood and follow up with your fertility specialist

Had 5 day embryo transfer on 30/08/14. Today my urine pregnancy test negative. How far is the chance of me being pregnant?

Still good: I would not necessarily expect the pregnancy test to be positive yet. If you aren't bleeding, that is a good sign.

Faint positive home pregnancy test 10 days post 3 day embryo transfer, could I be pregnant?

Faint positive home pregnancy test 10 days post 3 day embryo transfer, could I be pregnant?

Possibly: A pregnancy test can be positive this early after a three-day embryo transfer. Have your doctor perform a beta HCG and Progesterone level on you to confirm.

16 day of embryo transfer and negative result I did the urine home pregnancy test and was in the evening not the morning. Could I still be pregnant?

16 day of embryo transfer and negative result I did the urine home pregnancy test and was in the evening not the morning. Could I still be pregnant?

MAybe: Most likely the urine pregnancy test is accurate by this time. If you do not start your period then recheck in a few days. Most likely you have a follow up appointment scheduled with your fertility doctor for a BHCG blood test

15 days following embryo transfer I had a ve pregnancy test followed by 2 negatives at day 17 19 I have not had a period could I still be pregnant my clinic advised me to stop all meds but I m scared to do so?

Doubtful, sorry: It's still possible but very unlikely, I'm sorry. With an embryo transfer the dating is absolute, and 15 days after transfer is more time than necessary for the test to be positive. You should trust your clinic and talk with them about your concerns...Sorry about the disappointing cycle.

My first transfer resulted in ectopic pregnancy. Is there anything I could do to avoid this from happening in my upcoming frozen embryo transfer?

My first transfer resulted in ectopic pregnancy. Is there anything I could do to avoid this from happening in my upcoming frozen embryo transfer?

Not really: If it's an in utero transfer, there's not much you can do to actually prevent an ectopic pregnancy. Obviously you are at risk of another ectopic pregnancy. However, your doctor will keep a close eye on you.

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Freezing (Definition)

Freezing is to mean turning liquid into solid form by lowering the temperature. Water begins to freeze at 32 degree f or 0 degree celsius. Freezing reduces the movement of the substance/object--solid. Also commonly used in daily communication--police says to a perpetraitor "freeze" and hopefully the bad boy/girl stays solid/still (just for fun :-)). Have ...Read more
