Pregnancy Test 10 Days After Conception
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Earliest 7 days: Earliest is 7 days after conception, once implantation occurs. But, that is very early abd may be missed as a negative test. Most commercial tests are positive by the time of the missed cycle, or 2 weeks after conception. Try to resist taking a test too early, it may simply confuse the picture. Give it time needed to get a true result. Hang in there. ...Read more
Pregnancy test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more
If positive: A positive result is accurate. A negative result at that stage does not rule out pregnancy. It takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. ...Read more

Conception was about 3 days ago and my girlfriends showing signs of being pregnant also she took a pregnancy test and it was positive is it too soon?
Earlier than that: If a pregnancy test is positive it would be w-a-y to soon 3 days after conception: she got pregnant earlier than 3 days ago, at least 11-12 days before, theoretically maybe longer than that. When was her last normal period? Good wishes. ...Read more
My girlfriend took a pregnancy test three days after conception and it says positive with a very faint line should we trust it that early? No kid please
Maybe, maybe not: These tests can be misinterpreted, false positive or false negative. They are more likely to be false negative early on then false positive, but interpreting what is thought to be a faint color change is not definitive either. I would repeat the test with a standard brand hpt, not the dollar store variety, & if concerns remain have the blood test run. ...Read more
No: That would be much too soon, if we define conception as the moment the sperm meets the egg, leading to successful implantation of the embryo in the uterus. The home pregnancy test detects HCG in the urine, which means the HCG is coming from the location of the implanted embryo in the uterus. This means test is positive some time after implantation. ...Read more

I took a pregnancy test 5 days after conception and it came back positive. MY period started the day after conception.
Confusing yes: If that was a home pregnancy test one of three things are possible. First the test was false pos (least likely). Second, you have been pregnant since the prior cycle and third, your thought about conception time is wrong. Even with a twin pregnancy, the first time a test could be positive would be 11-13 days after conception. The bleeding is often confusing but likely not a regular period. ...Read more
How many days after conception can you get a positive at home pregnancy test. Menstrual cycles are messed up so can't go by how many days late.
I'm 5 days late for my period, have pregnacy symptoms, should be 20 days since "conception" but every pregnancy test I take says negative. Am i?
Maybe not pregnant: Can retest in 5-7 days. A urine pregnancy test done correctly will give a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (or when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and therefore lead to a repeat test. If truly pregnant, the retest should be positive. ...Read more

If: If the test was taken after a missed period then yes it should be accurate. It can detect pregnancy about 6 days before a missed period. If I took a pregnancy test 12 days after conception and 11 days before my period, will it show? There was no intercourse, semen touched my vagina only
Too soon to test:
Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.
