Pregnancy Symptoms 10 Days After Conception
Hi, i was wondering how long after conception does a woman experience pregnancy symptoms? I had my period on sept 30, 2011 and my husband and i had unprotected sex on oct 15, 2011. I have been feeling sick to my stomach throughout the day and my breasts
The : The symptoms of pregnancy can start once implantation occurs. This typically happens about 8-10 days after ovulation. Based on your lmp of 8/30/11, you likely ovulated on or around 10/14/11, if in fact you conceived, then the timing for pregnancy symptoms is consistent. There are early prediction pregnancy tests in stores that can predict pregnancy a week before your next period is due. I suggest you take one to be sure, or you can always follow up with your primary care provider or gynecologist for testing. Good luck! ...Read more
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Occasionally: That is almost too soon, but if a woman has incredibly good body awareness, she can notice changes in her body at about 12 days after conception. The easiest way to tell is to wait a few days to see if her period comes. If she gets her normal, regular period, she is not pregnant. If she misses her period by a few days, and is usually regular, she can check a home pregnancy test. ...Read more
Unlikely: It takes a couple of days after an act of unprotected intercourse for the pregnancy to implant into the lining of the uterus. And until that happens, production of the hormones of pregnancy aren't high enough to produce systemic symptoms that a woman would feel in her body. 7 - 10 days later, by all means. But a few days, unlikely. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
First trimester: One of the earliest signs of pregnancy is a missed menstrual cycle. By convention, once you miss your cycle you are approximately 4 weeks pregnant. Other symptoms include breast tenderness, fatigue, low energy, sleepiness, nausea, aversion to certain foods and odors. As pregnancy progresses, these symptoms become more apparent. At the stage you describe, it is likely you will not have any symptoms. ...Read more
It's been 15 days since conception. I'm having all the early pregnancy symptoms but all my tests have been negative. Is it to early to test?
Hard to answer: We don't know if it's been since 'conception' because there is no proof yet you have conceived. If you mean 15 days until ovulation, it is not too early to test, but don't be surprised at a negative result until your are one week 'late' for your cycle. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is there any possibility of conception if my wife didn't feel any symptoms of pregnancy and she has missed her prds by 4 days today?
Take a test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more

Can i get pregnant the day after my period ended? I have crazy amounts of pregnancy symptoms but neg test 21 days after expected conception jan13
Timing is unusual: But its not impossible if your periods are quite long or you have an abnormal period. But it's not a high-risk time for pregnancy. Symptoms are not reliable predictors in the luteal phase, but if you think you ovulated jan 13 a hpt would be reliable now. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I'm 5 days late for my period, have pregnacy symptoms, should be 20 days since "conception" but every pregnancy test i take says negative. Am i?
Maybe not pregnant: Can retest in 5-7 days. A urine pregnancy test done correctly will give a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (or when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and therefore lead to a repeat test. If truly pregnant, the retest should be positive. ...Read more
Cramping on lower abdomen on left side and lower back pain as well, this is all 6 days after conception. Could these symptoms relate to pregnancy?
Yes, but: It is a little early to be having pregnancy symptoms. Sometimes women have lower abdominal pain from an ectopic pregnancy, but not this soon after conception, usually. Unrelated to pregnancy, an ovarian cyst or a urinary tract infection could both cause these symptoms. Best to see a doctor and get checked out if the symptoms are really bothering you. ...Read more
About 3 weeks: Common early pregnancy symptoms include some nausea (with or without vomiting), some fatigue (feeling less energetic), a sharper or stronger sense of smell, mild soreness and swelling of the breasts, and maybe some food aversions or cravings. These symptoms are due to quickly rising hormone levels. If worried about pregnancy, one can just do a home pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex. ...Read more
Highly unlikely but: Most experts would say it is impossible to experience symptoms so soon after conception but some women report very nonspecific symptoms like fatigue, sore breasts ; bloating this soon; but even if you have those it is not strong evidence as many non-pregnant women have those same symptoms.
