Is it ok to take Clomid just for the chance of having multiple pregnancy?

Is it ok to take Clomid just for the chance of having multiple pregnancy?

What other drugs besides Clomid are used to get a woman pregnant? My wife is on 100 mg of Clomid and she ovulates normally. If Clomid doesn't work, will she be given a different fertility drug?

FSH Injections, IVF : If Clomid alone does not work, adding IUI (intrauterine insemination) can improve Clomid pregnancy rates. The next step after that would be to take fsh or injectable fertility drugs. Using these drugs in an ivf cycle is safest, but injections can also be combined with iui. Please speak with your doctor about the pros and cons of these options in your situation. Good luck! ...Read more
