I Have the paraguard iud, why am I freaking out about pregnancy when my boyfriend and I hugged while naked?
Anxiety: You are "freaking out" due to anxiety over having an unplanned pregnancy. Although the left half of your brain which is associated with logic "knows" that you can't get pregnant, the right half of your brain (creative/artistic side) is thinking, "What if?" Could the IUD fall out? Could sperm suddenly jump from his body into your uterus? In truth, anxiety is more complicated, but I am out of space ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Will my birthcontrol abort a possible pregnancy? About a month- 2 weeks ago i had unprotected sex but he did not ejaculate in me. I started taking sprintec about a week ago, can I still be pregnant? Or will sprintec abort the possible pregnancy? In the p
I just took 2 hpt, both were positive. I had an ectopic pregnancy about 11 months ago, so scared I'm going to have another one...likely hood??
Recurrent Ectopic PG: You are justifiably concerned about a 2nd ectopic pregnancy with this pregnancy as often the intra-tubal obstructions that were present in the 1st pregnancy are also still present in the 2nd. There is a 10 % chance of that occurring. The good news is that you are very aware of the possibility so "run" do not "walk" to your OB GYN now and get the necessary testing for intrauterine pregnancy. ...Read more
Had my methotrexate injection 7 weeks ago for an ectopic pregnancy (about 3 weeks along). Still getting pos. home pregnancy tests. What's going on?
Should be tracked: After Methotrexate it is important that your BHCG levels be tracked all the way down to zero. Usually this is done weekly. This is done to make sure that Methotrexate worked to treat the ectopic pregnancy. Also since it has been 7 weeks are you sure that this is not a new pregnancy? It is possible that you are pregnant again. See an Obgyn for a BHCG blood test. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
I had an ectopic pregnancy about 4 years ago. I delivered a baby in 2015 and just recently had a chemical miscarriage. Do I need medical help?
I had an ectopic pregnancy about 3 years ago then had to remove a tube and my right ovary me and my boyfriend been trying to have a baby?
Your question is ???: If you are wondering if you can conceive, it is hard to say. Ectopic's often occur because of a scarring within the tube that prevents the egg from moving normally to the uterus. If your other tube is normal, pregnancy should be possible. If scarred, maybe not. Talk with your OB about some testing &or other alternatives to achieve pregnancy. ...Read more
I had an ectopic pregnancy about 2 years ago they remove my right ovary and my tube was mess up how long I have to wait to try again to have a baby?
2 years plenty: Two years is plenty of wait time. If you'd like to try for another pregnancy, check in with your doctor about being ready, get on a multivitamin and have sex unprotected 2-3 times weekly. You'll be at risk for a repeat ectopic so be sure to call your doctor as soon as you get a positive home pregnancy test. ...Read more
