See allergist: Prednisone is not usually used fir treating allergic problem except in emergency situation such as asthma attack. I suspect that your problem is asthma and would urge you to consult an allergist. ...Read more

Its for your PAIN: Tylenol (acetaminophen) #4 is an Opiate Analgesic like Vicodin Used for PAIN . it contains 60mg of codeine and 300mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen). Codeine metabolizes into morphine (1/10th of the dose) so its about 6mg of oral morphine per does with Tylenol (acetaminophen) for the added pain relief. Yes: Although bronchitis is generally caused by a virus and therefore not helped by antibiotics, you should be fine. The reason antibiotics are sometimes prescribed is that as we get older, we are at increased risk for secondary infections, like pneumonia.
