I recently bought the pre=workout supplement by Force Factor called VolcaNo. Is there any side effects or health risks I should be aware of?

Maybe (not) . . .: Really impossible to answer b/c dietary supplement industry isn't subject to 3rd party oversight. In other words, they can make just about any claim they want to convince you to purchase their product while they don't have to prove benefit or safety (unless they're caught). So whether it's safe or not is open to debate especially given all the various supplements available. ...Read more
Depends on what the-: -workout involves. Sometimes protein & caffeine help, especially in weight training, also if it's a competition,caffeine only. Also you get more help from caffeine if you avoid it for 4-5 days. It is a stimulant that effects your heart rate an therefore increases blood to your muscles. ...Read more
Depends: Since the supplement industry is not regulated by the fda, the ingredients in supplements do not necessary have to contain what it claims or more so may have other ingredients not listed. With that said, having a blood clot does preclude you from having supplements that can affect your clotting ability, such as vitamin k.
