This is up to the physician but in general the amount of bleeding does not matter per say. Typically Clomid (clomiphene) can be given 3 to 5 days after the first sign of menstrual bleeding. Seems to be true: Clomid (clomiphene) extends the duration between ovulation and menstruation - thus allowing a greater period of time for fertilization to occur.
