Hard to say: I can not think of clear reason why this pain would be related to eating in that area of the body post partum. I suspect it is not related to being post partum. Probably a gastroenterologist would be the best doctor to evaluate what sounds like a digestive issue. ...Read more

Too early for sex: And too early for your period, you should have already asked this to the doctor who did your delivery!, since your post partum care is included, you probably are bleeding from your uterus as it is has not involuted all the way from the delivery, or it could be from your cervix, or other causes, you need call the oco who delivered you tonight to see what they want you to do and no more sex. ...Read more

Prob. Not, however..: Gallbladder attacks typically cause noncramping, steady pain localized to the right upper abdomen or upper midline. The pain is often associated with nausea +/- vomiting and may cause diarrhea, although not classic. While your recent episode doesn't sound like a gallbladder attack, if you have had these attacks before I advise you to see a general surgeon to discuss pro's/con's of surgery. ...Read more
