Yes: It's normal for the area to be red, but if it's red and warm and swollen, that could be a sign of infection. If you are at ALL worried, no harm in getting it looked at by ob/gyn or family doctor. Better sometimes, to be safe, and make sure there's no infection. ...Read more

Burning mouth is: a difficult condition to diagnose/treat.
