Are you infected ?: You assume that because you need root canal therapy that you have an infection... that's not always the case. A deep cavity may not hurt, but the tooth will still need root canal therapy since once the decay is removed the nerve will be exposed. Ask your dentist why no meds were prescribed. ...Read more
