Viral illness?: Although the exact diagnosis is not possible, i would suspect acute viral iinfection, particularly if you other members of your houshold/ people at work had similar complaints. Check your temperature, drink plenty of fluids, take over the counter meds that you are not allergic to; if feel your are getting worse, have a very high fever or unable to take liquids etc. See a doctor. Hope that helps. ...Read more

Carcinoid Tumors: Carcinoid tumors that can be found in small intestine or in the chest, could cause similar symptoms. Sometimes they may cause hypotension too that cause "dizziness". Feeling achy nose stuffy and chest pain when breathing. Some chills and tired too.

Call your doctor: Sounds like it could possibly be the flu. Not sure what the severity is in your area of the country, but it's been widespread and particularly bad this year. I would give your doctor a call and try to be seen, the only way to know for sure is for him/her to do a flu test on you. ...Read more

Been feeling weak and tired.. body aches. then came down with headache, irritated sore throat, and runny nose (a cold) feel better.. Still have a weak jittery feeling throughout arms and body. ?

Viral syndrome: You have described a very typical viral syndrome. We call it this because we often don't know the name of the virus or how you got it, but the symptoms of fatigue and body aches are classic, as is the sore throat and headache. Feeling "jittery" is not unusual. It will resolve without antibiotics, only helpful in bacterial infections, with rest, hydration/fluid, and acetominophen/ibuprofen. ...Read more

Infection: You should see your doctor. Fever/chills are symptoms of infection and you should have a full exam. If your period is late a pregnancy test is absolutely indicated if if is possible you're pregnant. A physician needs to know your full medical history, medications, allergies and examine you to determine what is going on. Expect history/exam+ tests.Temperature may be incorrect. Good luck. ...Read more

I have almost constant diahrea...Abdominal pain/discomfort, all over body aches and pain, mouth sores and hot flashes. ?

See a doctor: I hope this has not been going on very long, because it sounds miserable. If it has just been a day, then rest, drink plenty of fluids, eat the brat diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast), and it should pass. If this has been going on for more than a couple days or is getting worse, you need to get to a doctor as soon as possible. ...Read more
