Monitor it but your: Your GYN doctor can monitor it. Right now it looks like it is related to Endometriosis but keep an eye on it so that its future rise can be monitored so that there is no hidden cancer(in which case it will progressively rise and keep rising higher) ...Read more

Likely coincidence: Hard to say, but the association is much stronger with first degree relatives (sisters, mothers, etc). Your history does not rule out a hereditary component, so make sure you let your primary care physician know. ...Read more

Discuss with MD: You need an evaluation, you may have pelvic inflammation from any number of reasons, you will need a good pelvic exam and some lab studies. If you have been sexually active, at any time, the concern and urgency is increased. Please get an evaluation. ...Read more

Pain : Pain at midcycle is usually pain from ovulation, if it is before a pregnancy has been documented. However, pain in the ovary region after pregnancy can represent a "corpus luteum cyst", which is a cyst on the ovary that feeds the pregnancy prior to implantation of the fetus on the placenta. Pain during pregnancy can also be "round ligament pain" as the uterus enlarges. If a patient is pregnant and has severe ovarian pain however, then rarely ectopic pregnancy (tubal) should be considered, but fortunately that is very rare and is usually accompanied by spotting. If a patient had persistent pain and is pregnant then they should consult their gynecologist. ...Read more

I've pain on my lower left side of belly . Is it ovarian pain or kidney problem?

What are the risks and side effects of uterine embolisation for fibroids?

Can it shut down ovarian function and trigger menopause?

Rarely: Overall, the risk of complications from uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) is quite low. Infection is the most serious risk, sometimes requiring hysterectomy. There is a small risk of premature menopause, seemingly higher in women over 40. It is probably more difficult to get pregnant after UFE. But overall it is an effective, safe procedure for symptomatic fibroids. ...Read more
