Not Addictive: Immodium is not addicted and can be safely taken 1-3 times a week.But you have ibs for 13 years and you are only 25 years old you should limit dairy products, fruits and artificial sweetners like sorbitol or xylitol and you should have regular follow up with your doctors. ...Read more

R/O IBS: IBS SX BLOATING/PAIN/GAS/DIARRHEA/CONSTIPATION is a diagnosis of exclusion. IUC/CROHNS DZ/IBD is inflammation usually DX by BX IBS SX can be managed .You need a full exam and blood work.
