Post concussive : After a concussion it is not unusual to have some persistent headache, dizziness, vertigo or general malaise. So long as the symptoms are getting better slowly, I wouldn't worry too much. If increased activity worsens the symptoms, slow down and see if doing a little less helps improve your symptoms. I have post concussion syndrome and my headache is keeping me awake. Is there anything i can do to help me get to sleep?

Yes: Best approach is to treat the headache, both preventatively and proactively, but sleep patterns often get disrupted following head injury. Prefer you seek doctor, and design a program. Some otc approaches might include melatonin, and the head pain might respond to aleve, (naproxen) but far safer to have your doc evaluate all of this. ...Read more

Maybe maybe not: Headaches are common in concussion but other conditions as well.
