Positive Rubella Igg Ig M Tests
Yes: Igm indicates a recent infection whereas IgG indicates past infection or immunity. When both are positive that means the infection is recent so there is some risk of intrauterine infection and the pregnancy should be monitored closely. Pregnant 13 weeks, IgG and IgM rubella come out positive, IgG 101(+), IgM 1.3(+), retest after 3 weeks, result the same, is it safe to continue?
