Positive Opk For 3 Days When Is Ovulation
Three days in a row of positive opks (nondigital). Temp didn't spike until two days after the THIRD day of pos opk. When did I ovulate?
Not specific: The spike noted in the urine is the LH surge, which occurs about 24 hours before ovulation. The temp change is very non-specific and can be affected by a lot of things. Would this mean I'm ovulating or nearly ovulating?
Yes and no: Ovulation occurs usually within 36 hours of the first test turning positive. So, it doesn't matter how many turn positive, the first one counts. Depending on the test, I'm not sure what "nearly positive' means, but the hormone that those tests check for does not gradually increase. It's a sudden spike. Ovulation prediction: Ovulation predictor kits (opk) predict when you will ovulate. When you detect the first positive that means you will ovulate within the next 24 hours. That means ovulation takes place next day after positive test. Once you see the first positive, you don't need to continue checking as the test will stay positive for 2 days then turn negative again. ...Read more
