Is CMV IgG positive and IgM negative a serious prolem to my 4 month old baby. He got this IgG from his mother whose test results are same as above?

Unlikely: IgG level elevation only signifies exposure to CMV, your pregnancy would be at increased risk with an IgM spike which signifies a primary infection which a fetus has no immunity against.
