Be Careful!: Unfortunately for the “consumer”, there is minimal regulation involved when it comes to who can perform these procedures and the terminology employed etc. Patients need to do their own due diligence. My best advice would be to seek consultation with board-certified plastic surgeons; ask to see lots of examples of their work and talk to previous patients as well. Best wishes. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Are the at home portable ultrasound therapy machines when used safely cancerous/release radiation?
Don't do it!!!: You are going to drive yourself nuts monitoring your heart. If you have had a consultation with a cardiologist and a minimal work up that is negative, monitoring heart is only going to feed your anxiety and make everything worse. Please place your energy in things that can make you healthier (don't smoke, eat well, loose weight and exercise) If you are taking medications, be compliant. Good luck! ...Read more

Avoid wrist machines: Most home BP monitoring machines are good and usually fairly inexpensive, <$50. The ones that work on the upper arm are a bit more accurate than the wrist machines. Also, check your BP in both arms, there may be a significant difference. If more than 10 mmhg, you should get that checked out by a cardiologist. If not, use the arm with the higher of the two measurements. Check it at random times. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

This depend on state regulations though because it has come across some debate. ...Read more
Hairdryer/orthotic: It's unlikely that a standard hairdryer will generate enough heat to make adjusting an orthotic possible. However a better question would be are you trying to make an adjustment yourself? I would recommend you see the prescribing physician for any adjustments. There is a science involved that goes beyond just heating and bending the device. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Can we use vibration massage machine for face, arms and body slimmer massage machine ,this is good for our skin and our body we can use this machine?
Not really: Opinions will differ, but with obstetric care, you have open access to your obstetrician, usually for an unlimited number of visits. If you want reassurance of the baby's heartbeat, i'd rather you come in to see me than make yourself nervous with a home monitor. If you do decide to get one, remember that finding the heartbeat, especially early on, is not necessarily easy. Don't go crazy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
