Frequent, close-shaving causes minor trauma to the hair follicles and some folks can be sensitive to this, hence getting darker pores/follicles. Folliculitis : Well, the idea of putting honey the soap is interesting but I'm wondering if that would result in the soap having some degree of sugar in it. If so, I could conceive the possibility that putting sugar on your skin might predispose towards irritation/inflammation of the hair follicle = folliculitis. Try switching back to Dove and see what happens. ...Read more
