Poppy pod tea: Poppy Tea is a "drink" made from the crushed pods of the plant Papaver Somniferum. It has psychoactive alkaloids in it like codeine, etc . A uniform "recipe" for this tea doesn't exist. Be aware that some drinkers have OD'd & died from crushing too many pods for their tea. That is hard to say: since I don't know where you are buying these poppy leaves,(I don't know what is in them besides poppy) My suggestion is to take prescription meds are prescribed. To try other things for pain like distraction, humor, movies, reading, and ask doctors in Sweden what is recommended for your medical conditions. You don't state that in this. Opiates: Poppy seed tea is a legal way to concentrate opiates (remnants of morphine, codeine, etc) that are present in the seeds. The tea has a bitter taste. The seed content is highly variable, and you will not know the concentration or dose of your tea. Could be anything: Getting "high" usually includes a sense of euphoria and decreased inhibition. The symptoms you describe could be from abuse of almost anything or even represent an underlying medical or psychological condition. Have you talked to her about getting help?
