When I lay on my side a certain way my rib cage overlaps, you can actually hear this happening with a popping noise. Is this normal?
It can be: If you have inflamation of the cartilage that connects the sternum or breastbone to the ribs. Or you might have a fracture, but usually these things are very painful. You are still growing, so that might be your explanation. If you are having pain, or it's sufficiently bothersome, seeing your family doctor would be the best way to find out what the problem is and how to deal with it. Best wishes! ...Read more

Please I need an answer, does liver popping noises when touching or pushing under rib? There is no pain at all but something moveable under right rib
? floating rib: The lower ribs can be "floating" in not being attached to the sternum (breast bone) like the upper and middle ribs and can be made to "pop" if pushed just the right way. Another cause could be a traumatic separation of a rib that is normally attached to the lower sternum by cartilage and moved back and forth. This could have happened long ago and the fall forgotten. If it bothers, see your doc! ...Read more

Is it ok that where my ribs connect to my sternum they pop sometimes? Like popping knuckles. It hurts most of the time until they pop.
Yes, it's probably OK: There are joint between your ribs and your sternum that can pop as they move sometimes, and it is not an indication of harm. It is also possible to get costochondritis, or inflammation of those joints, which usually is painful to touch and with movement. If you are having a lot of pain, try low doses of Ibuprofen over the counter for a few days. As with anything, if it doesn't go away see a dr. ...Read more
When I breath in deep I feel and hear a bubble or pop sound on the bottom right side of my ribs. Only other symptom I have is having to clear my throat of thick mucus. What could the bubbling, popping, wheezing noise on the bottom of my rib?
Wheeze: This unusual location for a wheeze may also be caused by some mucus in the right bronchial tree and could be a form of asthmatic bronchitis. I would expect an associated cough if this were the case. Do you cough up any mucus? Do you wheeze if you take in a deep breath and blow it out forcefully through your mouth? If symptoms persist, see your physician for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. ...Read more

Have I popping sensation when I push on just below my right side of sternum and ribs meet. Underneath I have pain sometime when push/pulling?
CARTILAGE there. ..a part of the JOINT that exists between your sternum and the front part of your ribs!! This is the same as "cracking" your KNUCKES! STOP IT! You can irritate these joints and THAT causes a condition known as COSTOCHONDRITIS and THAT HURTS when you push/pull!!!!
