So do I have constipation if I only poop 2 times a week maximum? And does it matter if it's small or large poop?
Let's define problem: Doctors define constipation as stools less frequently than once every 3-4 days. Patients feel they are "constipated" when passing hard or small volume stool, or they feel full ; bloated. Have you been evaluated to show you're not blocked, if your gut is sluggish, or your rectum works correctly--these can be tested for (sitz marker study ; anal manometry, respectively). See a GI specialist next. Read more

BM daily. Today no urge at all. Think because I did not eat a lot. Does this mean constipation or poop just not ready to come out?
Just not ready.: Our bowel habits can vary based on diet, water intake and activity level. Some days we may not go at all. Some days we may go two or three times, or more. So one day missing a bowel movement would not be defined as constipation, nor would it indicate that there's a problem brewing. Read more
