Does smelling polyurethane in a room with it painted/refinished months ago cause miscarriage risk? Is there a diff in danger between freshly painted poly vs poly that has been off gassing for months?
Minimal risk: The medical literature suggests polyurethane fumes can increase miscarriage risk but the risk is not quantified. Because millions of pregnant women have been exposed to these fumes i'd presume the risk is low but in general risks increase with higher degrees of exposure.
