Is it possible to be allergic to polyester fabic? i have OCD and hope that this is not a true allergy. thank you so much

Is it possible to be allergic to polyester fabric? Could my severe OCD be making me think I am allergic or is this a real allergy? Please help.
Polyester allergy is: possible.....an allergist can do a simple, painless patch test(www.truetest.com).....but depending on your symptoms it may be negative and then it is possible for anyone(not just if you have ocd) to believe you sre allergic to something but really aren't.....the allergist should be able to easily sort this out for you.
