GI bleed: Black loose stool much more concerning for an upper GI bleed. If you had a good quality colonoscopy 2 years ago, colon cancer is fairly unlikely (unless you have known genetic mutations/ aggressive polyps etc) - but you do need to get checked out for upper GI tract bleeding ASAP. Make an appt with your PCP/GI today/tomorrow and get your CBC checked. Lay off of ASA and NSAIDS. ...Read more

SLD? Do you mean...: SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus)? SLE most commonly affects the joints & skin but can affect any organ system. It can contribute to anemia and internal bleeding.
