Poked with needle on train. Found needle. Looks like hollow needle but could not find any barrel n chamber. Do this pose HIV risk?
Saw blood draw where site was touched with unwashed finger and then not sterilized with alcohol swab. If new needle was used, is patient at high risk?

That being said, I'd think the chance of actual blood borne infection is small, in the absence of some immunosuppressing condition, with one such blood draw. ...Read more

See a Neurologist: Yes, any sharp object can injure nerves but the thinner the needle the less the injury. I would be concerned about the sterility of the needle also being an issue. You should see a neurologist for an evaluation and an emg/nct examination. If you already had ulnar nerve symptoms prior to the treatment then the acupuncture treatment may be a coincidental or only an aggravating factor. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Suspected dry dog faeces in eye, hospital flushed with saline and i'm on antibacterial ointment. Eye still sore. Can it damage my eye or make me blind?
Hit by corner under eye. Under eye is swallowing, I see a deep scratch under lower lid/sclera. Ice packs helps. Eye paining when closing eye. Advice.
See your eye doctor: ASAP, meaning oculoplastics surgeon! Eye swelling after being hit can indicate a possible orbital floor fracture & especially if you are seeing a deep scratch. What's behind the scratch is important & u may need orbital xrays or CT scan done to determine the extent of soft tissue/bone injury. If u can't look up, there could be entrapment of fat or eye muscle. May need oral steroids. Don't wait! ...Read more
