Most of the: time green stools are caused by the intake of green colored food and sometimes medication (IRON is the classic example) "Rapid Transit" can also give the stools a greenish color from BILE still undigested . This is seen with HIGH FAT intake...

Probably not: a small amount of blood in the stool is probably benign if it's hard and has to come out with force. In general, if you see blood anywhere from your body, it is good to know where it is coming from and why. This is more important the older you are.
