Plan B Within
I took 2 plan B's within 5 days. One on Thursday (may 7) and then yesterday (may 11). Am I at risk of serious consequences on my body?
Safe.: plan B is a very safe medication, so you should be ok. I cannot necessarily comment about your pregnancy risk because it is hard to predict. However, if you are finding that you are having as much unprotected sex that you need to take to morning after pills, you should consider a more long acting form of birth control. See your doctor for more information. ...Read more
High: Pregnancy rate is ~10% if taken within 72 hours. There may be irregular bleeding for up to 2 months after taking. The pattern doesn't mean anything about whether the medication worked or not. So run a home urine pregnancy test 14 days after the accident using first urine of the morning. If it's negative, you're not pregnant. Consider a more reliable form of contraception for the future. ...Read more
Suspect so: It is not 100% effective - it become less effective over time. Plan B One-Step is up to 89 % effective when taken within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex. Used the pull out method and took Plan B within 24 hours. What are the odds that I could still be pregnant?
What are the chances of preg. If I was ovulating and my bf went inside of me for about a min without protection I took plan b within 24 hours?
Pregnancy unlikely: Plan B (or other emergency contraceptive pills) can alter the menstrual bleeding for the cycle in which Plan B was taken, and sometimes the next cycle too. One should be sure to check a home pregnancy test about 3 weeks after sex, because Plan B works most of the time, but not all the time. ...Read more
I experienced condom failure with my wife 2 days in a row and we've used plan b within an hour of each failure. Is this safe and will it be effective?
I had unprotected sex around the time of ovulation and took Plan B within an hour. Will Plan B work even if I'm ovulating or ovulated already?
High risk: Having sex around the time of ovulation is a high-risk situation for pregnancy. If sex was within 72 hours and you do not desire pregnancy consider taking plan b. It's available over-the-counter and decreases the risk of an unplanned pregnancy. Also consider scheduling a visit to discuss your birth control options to prevent the situation in the future. ...Read more
Unprotected sex during ovulation 8-7.Took plan b within 1hr. Took ovulation predictor 6 days later 8-13. it says im at peak. Will planB still work?
Your question is...: ...confusing b/c you're suggesting that u might be ovulating x2 this cycle. Did u base your 8/7 ovulation on the calendar and the 8/13 on the OPK? If your periods are irregular, u should go by the OPK results. If u took Plan B early in your cycle, u could still ovulate 6 days later. Don't count on Plan B from 8/7 to prevent ovulation today! ...Read more

Condom leaked from the base but he pulled out. I believe I was ovulating that day I took plan B within the 48 hours. Very scared!
Unlikely...: If you used Plan B as prescribed during that period of time you should be fine. The failure rate is small although not as small as the regular contraceptives. Hello I was just wondering if I have unprotected sex while day of ovulation then take Plan B within the same day what are the chances of being prego?
?: This question is confusing to me. If you know you're ovulating, and you don't want to be pregnant, why would you have unprotected sex? Why not just use a condom? If you had unprotected sex and you are worried that you may have been ovulating, and Plan B was taken within a few hours of sex, you would have a 1-2% chance of getting pregnant. ...Read more
Had sex, ejaculated inside my girlfriend. Took plan B within 45min Then we had sex again after. I didn't ejaculate inside her does plan b still work?
Yes, but...: Plan-B pill works in most if taking it within 3 days after sex. Nonetheless, still always do HPT in 7-10 days after missing period & repeat it in another 7-10 days if the first HPT is (-) & still in doubt. Besides, it is nice to know that ovulation occurs 2 wks before period regardless of personal menstrual cycle. ...Read more
Abortion november. Sex a week last sunday. Took Plan B within 12 hrs of that. Take trycyclen. Took it late yesterday. Spotting/clear discharge. Scared?
Do you LIKE being: Scared? Abortions? Plan b? Unprotected sex will eventually lead to pregnancy or std's. That's just how it works. It's what we were made to do. If this is something you are sure you don't want, I would recommend hormonal birth control daily with condoms on top! Many std's are forever, as is parenting. The crappy part of the deal is, the guys never have to worry. They have their fun, then leave. ...Read more
