Plan B: is most effective when taken within the first 24 hours of intercourse and loses some effectiveness the further out it is taken. It is still effective 72 hours from intercourse. 89% effective at 72 hours ...Read more
Could be as the: hormone levels in your body are still high. The odds of you conceiving with such hormonal levels from the Plan B are close to 0. But I would still be careful and not use plan B as a contraceptive. Best if you use alternate more reliable methods such as oral contraceptive, implants or IUDs. took four Bc pills instead of Plan B because I didn't have other options or way to get the real plan b. Feel sick, have to take my regular dose soon?
What's the question?: I don't understand your question. You states 'have to take my regular dose soon'. Are you using oral contraception on a regular basis? If that's so then there may be no need for emergency contraception. You are feeling sick (nausea, etc) because of the higher estrogen content in multiple pills. This will resolve soon. ...Read more
Had unprotected sex a week ago, (took plan B) and again within the week, will plan b work? is there an alternative?
Maybe, Maybe Not: Plan B is not intended to be used multiple times during a menstrual cycle. You will likely have some irregular bleeding. You may want to perform a pregnancy test about 3-4 weeks after your last unprotected intercourse. Your best alternative is not to have unprotected sex and find a suitable means of contraception. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
