Try Ulipristal/Ella: Unfortunately the primary mechanism of Plan B is the prevention of ovulation, but if the cat's already out of the bag, meaning you've already ovulated, then there might not be very much that Plan B can do. Normal: Your body is reacting to all those hormones. I suggest that you use condoms in addition to the birth control pills, or practice abstinence. You are at risk of more than pregnancy. Bad idea: Plan B works by blocking ovulation; once it wears off ovulation continues. If you have sex, the sperm sticks around, and once the pill wears off, the egg will come into contact with them once released (you actually increase your chances of getting pregnant). To really prevent pregnancy, best to use condoms and a second method such as BC pills every single time (why take a chance?) ...Read more
