I have taken the morning after pill twice in one month. First time plan B second time generic. Is it not going to be effective?

Should be effective: I don't see a problem between the brand and generic, as long as they were taken as instructed within the 48-72 hour. May need to talk to your doctor about other forms of contraception. ...Read more

Took Plan B 5 times in one month now my period is 2 weeks late and it's been over a month since I took plan b. Not preg. What's wrong?

Too much plan B : For one thing. Plan B is not to be used for regular contraception. It is not as effective as regular contraception. It is Plan B for BACK UP! Plan B can delay the onset of periods, &honestly, you've taken so many doses I don't when you can expect your period. And since Plan B is not as effective as regular birth control, if your period is delayed too much longer, you still need to consider pregnancy. ...Read more

I took a Plan B after having my period. I am having my period again for a second time this month and my husband and I were careless again. Should I take another Plan B or will I still be protected from the first one I took? I am still having some bleeding

Be more careful: Plan b is effective up to 120 hours (optimally 72) from the time of unprotected intercourse. If more than this time period has passed then another Plan B dose can be used. Irregular menstrual bleeding may become more pronounced, a pregnancy test now and in 2 weeks is advisable. Plan b is not a form of contraception. ...Read more

Hello names faith I used plan b pill 3 times in one week and i have not seen my periond for a month now am i pregnant?

NO but....: Your have completely messed up your menstrual cycles and obviously need birth control: Hopefully you won't bleed excessively taking 3 times the normal dose and why?- forgot condoms? Forgot to see your GYN for testing and pills? Plan B is emergency contraception and using it 3 times in one week can cause severe hormonal imbalance, heavy bleeding and loss of cycles: short of that-get a GYN exam! ...Read more

Took plan b 3 times in one month. Is it normal to have a late or missed period. When should I be worried? How long until my hormones/period go normal

Took plan b 3 times in one month. Is it normal to have a late or missed period. When should I be worried? How long until my hormones/period go normal

Plan B: Plan B will interfere with your normal menstrual cycle for that month, particularly when taken three times that month. If you do not have a period this month, you should do a home pregnancy test. On top of that, it is obvious that your current form of birth control is not working if you need to take Plan B three times this month. If you are going to be sexually active, you need a better plan. ...Read more

I think you can take: As many tests as you would want to believe, but it is widely known that if you do not protect yourself with contraception, the chance of conceiving is good in a normal fertile woman. And based on the result of the first pregnancy test, you would seem to be expecting. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap. ...Read more

Unprotected sex x3 one month. No cum. Pee before sex. Plan b each time. Pink vaginal discharge. Week of period. Prego?

Hard to tell: Sorry to get on the soap box, but you need a better plan, gal! Taking Plan B 3x in 4 weeks is not the way to go. Start on a birth control pill that you take daily, use condoms every time, know that pre-ejaculate still does have sperm in it, and be responsible when it comes to sex or else you're going to have a baby looking up at you calling you, "mama!" too early to tell about pregnancy now... ...Read more

Unprot'd sex/ Plan B: Plan B should be "the morning after". It is not certain to prevent pregnancy, even then. If your period is late, ( and you usually are very regular), get a serum HCG test (very accurate for pregnancy detection) about a week after your period is due. If positive, see your healthcare provider for an exam and advice. ...Read more

Partner A: ongoing sex. Partner B: I had sex one time October 13, 5 days later took a plan B. Nov 6 my fetus measured 7w5d. Is partner A father?

Maybe. Just count...: One can count backwards 5 weeks and 5 days, if the baby fetus is now 7 weeks and 5 days, to find the estimated conception date. The standard way of counting is: conception is 2 weeks AFTER the official start of the pregnancy. That means if pregnancy officially started 7 weeks ago, conception was 5 weeks ago. All dates are estimates, plus or minus one week. That's right, all dates are estimates. ...Read more
