I'm on tri previfem and took plan b 3 weeks ago. I have a yeast infection w/blood. Is the blood from plan b or is it a sign of implantation? Nervous
Confusing: If you are already on birth control pills then there is no need to take Plan B as you were already protected. Implantation bleeding only occurs if you are pregnant which is not likely since you are on birth control. Yeast does not usually cause blood. I suspect you just triggered some bleeding from adding Plan B on top of your birth control. ...Read moreGet help now ›

Get your yeast infection treated and if your discharge remains bloody see your GYN. ...Read moreGet help now ›

My boyfriend is a frequent drinker of dark liquor, can this cause me to get a yeast infection from him?
No: Yeast infections usually are not caught from sex partners. Yeast is normal in the vagina, rectum, and on genital skin, and a new yeast infection means yeasts already present have grown to greater number, causing symptoms. Even if some infections were transmitted sexually, drinking "dark liquor" or anything else wouldn't make any difference. See your doctor if you think you have a yeast infection. ...Read moreGet help now ›
