Placentrex Injection Dose
My test level is 103. I am not responding to androgel. What is the max dose of test injections I can get? I am 43, in good shape and eat properly.
Here are some. ..: Repeat T-level test some one month after using Androgel or 2-3 days and soon before testosterone injection so to correlate patient's low-T-related clinical symptoms with T-level and confirm its adequacy of usage. The dose of injectable T is about 200 - 250 mg. Meanwhile, one has to understand T-level is not everything and needs to work on lifestyle to eliminate stress, obesity, high BP, etc.. .. ...Read more

I injected vit d3 1ml injection. My level is 25 vit-d. what dose u suggest according to my level. I feel better than oral. Whaenever I injected.
How many units?: I want my patients vitamin D levels to be "optimal". I consider a serum level of 50 to 70 ng/mL to be optimal. Certainly not too low, but not too high either. I would ask your doctor to continue to monitor your serum level until it is optimal while titrating your dose to achieve that effect ...Read more
Yes: If your question is, is it safe to obtain an abortion 13 to 14 weeks, the answer is that abortion at the end of the first trimester beginning of second trimester is a very safe procedure. The fact that you've taken Progesterone shots has very little to do with whether the procedure is safe or not. So long as your doctor is trained in this procedure the likelihood of a complication is incredibly low. ...Read more
What is standard dose of methotrexate injections in a 6 year old with jra/jia? She weighs 50 pounds
Discuss with doctor: There are many ways to effectively treat JIA with Methotrexate and biologics (Enbrel, Remicade, (infliximab) Humira, Orencia).Every doc has their own style and can work as long as the starting dose is titrated to work but not cause too many side effects. I would start a typical 50 lb 6yo with either 10 or 12.5mg of injected Methotrexate weekly but all kids are unique so your doc may start with a different dose ...Read more

What are the adverse effects of methylcobalamine injection 500 mcg on alternate days for upto 7 injections, can the first dose cause anaphylaxis?
Need 2nd dose: Usually, anaphylaxis (& allergic reactions) requires a SECOND exposure to the foreign substance. The first exposure, which could be decades ago, "primes" the immune system. The second & subsequent exposures cause anaphylaxis. However, methycobalamine (Vitamin B12) is a natural & necessary vitamin, so if u react, it wd b from a preservatives or excipient in the injection. There r few other side eff ...Read more

Is lantus (insulin glargine) dose the same as normal syringe injection? Should it be applied three times a day?
Please clarify: Hi. I don't understand your question. Lantus (insulin glargine) is only given once per day (not 3 times/day). Lantus (insulin glargine) is a basal insulin (flat, non-peaking) and does not cover meal insulin requirements, which are the 3 times/day injections. The dose of Lantus (insulin glargine) is determined on an individual basis, but if you mean is the dose from a Lantus (insulin glargine) pen the same as the dose from a vial using a syringe, the answer is yes. ...Read more

I am 35 years old I had a dose of decapeptyl injection for endometreosis in september could this effect a recent amh blood level?
GnRh & AMH: I just answered a similar question and maybe it was yours. Decapeptyl (gnrh) suppresses FSH levels. The small antral follicles produce amh but they are not responsive to fsh. So, the gnrh hormone should not affect your amh levels. This fact is one of the reasons that amh is so attractive to us. We are not as reliant on the timing of the hormone measurement. I hope this helps. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
How safe are testosterone injections (low doses) for women over the age of 40. What benefits should I expect and side effects? Thank u
Not FDA approved: Testosterone injections are not approved for use in women. Neither are patches or gels/creams/lotions. There are some oral combination hormone pills for menopausal women which contain both estrogen & T but they're not widely prescribed. Benefits & side effects are similar regardless of gender. However, do beware of virilization, hirsutism, clitoromegaly etc if excess T. Discuss w/your FamilyDoc. ...Read more
