Placenta Previa At 19 Weeks
I'm 19 weeks of gestation with complete placenta previa, can I take Duvadilan as a tocolytics?
Provided that I had painless bleeding one week ago.
Optimistic: The uterus has a lot of growing to do from 15 weeks on. The placenta can migrate away from the cervix as the uterus grows. If you experience vaginal bleeding you should see your doctor but you should be optimistic that the condition will very likely resolve on its own. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Yes, possible!: Previa: Placenta overlies the cervix/birth canal. Gr 1 means placenta is close, Gr 4 means it's directly overlying/blocking the baby's exit -- high chance of preterm labor & bleeding; you'd need a C/S at 36-37wks. More common in woman w/ hx of C/S & smoking. Not much you can do but wait. If dx'ed early, the uterus still grows/stretches and a placenta can migrate away even in 3rd tri. Follow w/ US. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I was diagnosis with placenta previa after some spotting. I'm 15 weeks and still spotting-light brown. Is this normal? If this will correct when?

Spotting just light brown sounds like either old blood or very slow bleed, which is better than brisk, bright red bleeding. Some previas "correct" themselves - that is the placenta moves away from the cervix area. This can happen at any time during the pregnancy. It has to be followed VERY CLOSELY! ...Read more
I was diagnosed with placenta previa at 20 weeks and was told no sex, I am now 27 weeks. Can my husband put in just the tip or rub around my vagina?
Placenta previa: I would abstain from anything in the vagina. The concern is any possible pressure on the cervix could cause an emergency situation. Find other ways for sexual release. ...Read more
I had a 2nd csection 10 weeks ago (previous was 2 years ago). During surgery they found i had placenta previa & had to cut through the placenta. i h?
What is the question: I do not know what your situation was , but almost always placenta previa should be diagnosed before you had the csection by an ultrasound , all of my pts get at least 4 ultrasounds , the last one being 34-36 weeks which also checks the location of the placenta, because if u had a previous csection a placenta previa can often cause a placenat accreta which can cause big problems , glad u did ok. ...Read more
