Brain metabolism?: I'm not sure what you mean by "brain metabolism problem, " since so many metabolic reactions are going on in your brain at the same time. Piracetam is a derivative of GABA http://tinyurl.Com/b456rj3 and Klonopin (clonazepam) enhances GABA receptor activity too. You could end up more drowsy ; sedated. Does piracetam have any effects that don't go away after stopping? I was taking it at 12g per day for a week, I'm wondering how long it will take for the effects to subside? Can you tell me? Thanks.
For one wk; GI: Piracetam for one week should only have gastrointestinal side effects, such as some minor erosion of the mucosal linking of your stomach.
