Pins And Needles In Wrist
Sharp pins and needles pain back of knee and continues down leg. Pins and needles in wrist and hand as well. Happens occassionally, mostly lying down.
Pins and needles: It's unclear if this is occurring with pressure in the back of the knees or the hands and wrist. Pressure over those areas can cause those symptoms. If there is no pressure over those area, then the question is do these symptoms persist or quickly dissipate. If the symptoms persist or continue on a regular basis, then they should be evaluated.

Pins and needles left arm under wrist and leg under knee at night lasts all night and next day. Painful and frequent. Happens mostly when lying down.
See a neurologist: Or pain specialist for a detailed history, physical exam and imaging of your spine and brain if necessary. Difficult to make a diagnosis without these tools.
How do I really pain numbness and pins and needles, hotness in my wrist hand and arm I think it's carpel tunnel?
Could be: You seem to describe symptoms consistent with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Generally the tingling and pain is more in the thumb, index, and middle fingers. Sometimes you can tap on the underside of your wrist and reproduce the tingling sensations. It is best to see a hand surgeon to diagnose this and to prevent any long term damage or weakness if it is carpal tunnel syndrome.
I have had for the last month pins and needles in my left arm wrist fingers and thumb. I recently had a cranioplasty. Should I inform my gp or the brain?
Pins & needles: The sensation of pins and needles often follows nerve compression. A common site for this symptom is in the tips of the thumb and the first three fingers, when this occurs it suggests compression of the median nerve, or carpal tunnel syndrome. When the symptom affects the back of the hand, between the thumb and the first finger, consider radial nerve compression. Ulnar nerve affects pinky fngr
I have A pins and needles sensation on the tops of my hands not on my fingers and it doesn't go past my wrist. What could it be?
Various: Sensation on the backs of the hands is supplied by the radial nerve. Most docs will say it sounds like irritation of the radial nerve. It could also come from soft tissue (fascial) restriction or tight muscles. The body makes various sensations that come and go. If it's a new thing, ignore it and it might go away. If it persists, should get it checked out.See 1 more doctor answer
My wrist turns blue and pain travels up my arm when I use my hands a lot at work. I get pins and needles at night. What's causing this?
Possibly CTS: Is possibly might have carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). CTS may cause a pins and needles sensation typically in the first 3 fingers of your hands. In addition, CTS may also be associated with the backward (retrograde) conduction of pain up the arm. An unusual sign is the blue coloration. There is another condition called thoracic outlet syndrome that can result in such signs. See an Orthopedic MD!

Nerve Strike?: I hope to strike a "nerve" with this answer for you, as the Depo shot may have hit a nerve if given in your arm causing the "pins and needles" feeling. If it continues, ask the MD who gave the shot to check out your arm neurologically.
I have been experiencing sharp pains under left breast and pains down my left arm to my wrist, feels like pins and needles under my skin, all day long?
Shingles, possibly: Could be shingles, which often begins with pain in a linear distribution on one side, even before the blistery rash develops. Could also be a pinched sensory nerve, and there are other causes. If it is shingles, the sooner you start on treatment (valtrex, famvir, (famciclovir) etc.) the sooner you will have relief, so see your doctor asap.
Today: Pins and needles all over body/ mouth. Sever hand and wrist cramping, very tight fist and wrist bending inward towards body.
Paresthesias vs nerv: This can be a lot of problems. It may not be anything serious and could be paresthesias. You need to see your doctor to make sure it's not some infection, inflammation, myofacial pain, or even poisoning like botulism, electrolyte imbalance, etc. Sometimes we see these types of symptoms with emotional stress. You need to see your physician to clarify what may be the cause of this.
Neuropathy: It is possible you have some kind of nerve injury. Your doctor needs to evaluate you as the answer may be simple but important.
Nerve compression: You could have a nerve pinching at wrist, which would affect grip strength and cause you to drop objects, but also, cause altered sensations. (perhaps carpal tunnel syndrome or even ulnar nerve issue at wrist or elbow). Get this evaluated before additional problems occur, as most of these problems can easily be reversed.
Yes: You should see your primary doctor. It may be foreshadowing a more severe condition.
