Soften: If it is a corn, then soaking your foot in warm water for 10 min or so should soften it so you can file it off. If not then see a podiatrist. Could be an early infection. ...Read more

Ice it: Definately could be broken, would recommend seeing a foot doc who will xray and possibly splint the digit and dispense a surgical shoe. The reason for the xray is to see if the joint is dislocated, if the fracture is intraarticular or if displaced. ...Read more
