? other tests?: At 18 you are at low risk for a heart problem but I have seen pericarditis in younger kids with similar symptoms. An ekg and/or cardiac enzymes would rule out most issues that combine arm numbness with chest pain. Without the arm numbness I would consider heartburn/reflux more likely. Could be: It also could be other things and while you don't say L or R and you're female and fairly young, it could even be related to your heart. Ulnar nerve Sx: It is most likely that ur gerd is giving you the chest pain rather than your ulnar nerve. Patients w/ulnar nerve compression can have pain, numbness, tingling, cold hands/arms, neck ; shoulder pain; just about any symptom from the fingertips to the neck, but not chest pain.
