Pinched Nerve Inner Thigh
It started with severe back pain and nummness and pain down right leg, chiroprictor made back better, was pinched nerve. Still having pain right thigh?
The brain and spinal cord communicates with what is occurring in the internal organs and limbs by nerve fibers where are like electrical wires with insulation (myelin) and the "copper" (axon). Within brain and spinal cord these nerves connect to other nerves via synapses on both axons and dendrites. A nerve can carry information regarding sensations, and ...Read more
Is it a pinched nerve have pain n the front inner & side of thigh. Have pain n lower back, hips, pubic bone, groin area. Can decompression help this?
Depends: This depends on what your imaging reveals. Lumbar stenosis can cause back pain and pain into thighs which are worse with ambulation. Decompression can help this with or without a fusion depending on your specific image and exam. However you are very young for something like this to happen. Please be seen and evaluated.See 1 more doctor answer

Could a pinched nerve anywhere n my back or lower back cause pain achey feeling in the front & side of my thighs only?
What is the most accurate test that will locate a pinched nerve in the back? I experience a lot of pain in the front of my thighs comes and goes 4 days
Piriformis: Lumbosacral disc disease can cause pain that radiates into the buttock and down the leg. Compression of the sciatic nerve by the piriformis muscle in the butt cheek can do the same but pain rarely goes below the knee. There are exercises that help stretch the muscle to take pressure off the nerve. If pain radiate to the foot, see a doctor. Pain can radiate form the hip to knee if tfl is tight. Pt.
Lwr back, top of butt pain, at times wraps around to hip, side, down into butt, front of thigh. At times one side, at times both. Pinched nerve?
See your doctor: It could be a nerve problem, but equally it could be a root problem and anything in between. There are other disorders that could predispose to symptoms such as these, so getting a good history and physical exam would be important to evaluate this completely.
I am a dancer, and I have a pinched nerve directly behind my right thigh from doing an improper heel stretch. How do I fix it so I can move on?
NEED DIAGNOSIS: Not clear if you possess a chronic hamstring strain/sprain or a true "pinched nerve" over the thigh, which might be a peripheral sciatica or even a pyriformis syndrome. Proximal nerve compression at lumbar or buttock levels may well be referred to post. Thigh, and sacro-iliac dysfnctn may also be hard to pin down. Maybe get consultation with osteopath and consider some testing.
What's the best medicine for thigh pain? Not sure if it's a pinched nerve or muscle spasam. I just know it's been hurting for 3 days. Extremely achey!
Thigh pain: There are many reasons for this pain, but nsaids and stretching with positional changes multiple times per day is probably best for now. Try to continue with activities as usual, except for strenuous lifting and lost of bending, to prevent things from getting worse. Wait for about a week before seeking help if you can tolerate it... Good luck!
Feels like l get a shiver in my thigh. I have a pinched nerve in lower back. Low iron levels. What could be causing this feeling?
Thigh shivers: If these are muscle twitches, localized muscular or superficial nerve irritability is likely. If frequent diffuse muscle twitches or cramps occur, deficiencies of calcium, magnesium and potassium must be ruled out. I don't think it's a symptom of iron deficiency. The pinched low back nerve may be a factor, however. A neurologist could evaluate you for this.
If I have a pinched nerve n my L3 or L4 can this b corrected by decompression or physical & osteopath manipulation therapy? Achey pain n front thighs.
Lumbar Disk: 70-80% of lumbar disk herniations will improve without surgery, especially in a woman. Try to avoid activity which increases pain down your leg to allow the nerve an environment to heal faster. Rest, physical therapy, non and steroid medication, and traction (decompression) are all proven nonsurgical treatment options.
Peroneal: Peroneal neuropathy can cause a foot drop and the most common site of compression is the site where the nerve wraps around the fibula. Generally removing the pressure, splinting, and physical therapy can be helpful. But have you had this confirmed with electrodiagnostic testing? I would recommend it to be sure as there are other potential causes of foot drop.See 1 more doctor answer
