Sounds like you had-:
Strained the flexors of your hand, hence causing pain with attempts to make a fist.
You need to be seen by an orthopedist so an xray, ;/or an us can be done to confirm the DX and treatment started.
In the meantime, rest the elbow with rice (rest, ice, compression and elevate)in a sling + pain meds lie with aleve (naproxen) or ibuprofen.

Need follow up: If ur initial evaluation and x rays were normal. A follow up evaluation & new xrays because a navicular fracture maybe normal initially but may show up in 2 wks later. U, in my opinion u should b casted 4 immobilizing the wrist, and it makes sure u return 4 follow up.
