Think I have ASMR. Get tingly feeling in arms, legs, head when rubbed, massaged, Can ASMR produce/stimulate extra GH & cause 40 YO to grow in height?
ASMR controversial: 1st of all, the ASMR phenomenon (Autonomic Sensory Meridian Response) is debated as to whether or not it exists. It was described in 2007 in the context of a finger tracing the head, but mostly it is thought of as a relaxation response to certain AUDIOVISUAL stimulation (not touch). Secondly, if ASMR exists, it's very poorly studied, so no claim regarding growth hormone (GH) or height is possible. ...Read more
Cool water on skin feeling? Randomly I will feel there is water on my leg, arm face feet, back; but when I go to wipe it off it's nothing! What's up?
Neuropathy: What you are describing is similar to what other people describe who have a condition known as neuropathy. The question becomes whether it is of a "peripheral" or "central" type. And of course, what you would really like to know is why you are feeling this. If these feelings persist or seem to be getting more expansive a neurologist may be able to help. ...Read more

Neuro exam: It sounds like you definitely need a neurological exam as part of a comprehensive physical exam including reflexes. I can't feel my leg, and it kind of tickles under my skin, and the feeling have spread to my stomach, can it be a embolism? What do you think?
Not likely, but: Did you do anything unusual? Take any unusual drugs? Eat unusual food? Etc? Are you with family or friends? Do they seem worried by your condition? If you are concerned, get to a clinic or er to be evaluated. It might be better to be safe than sorry. When there ask about what an embolism would have felt like so you'll know how to tell. Good luck! ...Read more
I have optic neuritis (2 months about 90% vision returned). I now have a "sunburn" type feeling on my leg (skin isn't red). Could it be related?
There is a thing: Called "exploding head syndrome", which is a type of headache. It doesn't usually cause strange feelings in legs though. It seems possible that you just have a lot of anxiety about something, but nonetheless, with any severe headache and other unexplained symptoms you should probably seek a medical opinion. When you do, just describe the symptoms. Don't use analogies "feeling of earthquake". ...Read more
Why do I get dizzy and loose feeling in my right leg? Happens when I walk and my head is tilting frequently.
Head tilting: Forward resulting in neurological symptoms obviates a careful assessment. If you have leg numbness and not just dizziness that suggests either a problem with blood flow to the brain (most likely posterior circulation) or an issue with slight traction on the spinal cord (as can be seen in many conditions including demyelinating disorders) The barber's chair sign is seen with MS. See a neurologist. ...Read more

I've been having some chest pain and feeling quite lightheaded, I also experience heat waves in my head and legs what's wrong with me?
I have severe nerve pain and the feeling of fluid running in my head, arms, and legs occasionally. What could be the cause?
What do: You mean by nerve pain? Pins, needles, tingling, shooting pain? Your description is not common at all. I have never heard description like that. Assuming your brain/neck MRI are normal, would consider your issue related to psyche/side-effects of your medicine rather than something anatomically wrong. Stick with your medicine and see if your neurologist/psychiatrist can suggest a cause. ...Read more
Been on clonazepam 0.25 for 6 months. Wean off 6 days leg went numb. Went back on for 6 days along with cymbalta (duloxetine) 30mg. Head feeling cloudyon 4th day.
Body is confused: Weaning off clonazepam can definitely cause neurological symptoms and 6 days might have been too fast of a wean. Then you go back to the clonazepam and add another psych med which has a similar side effect profile! No wonder your head feels a little off! Talk to your doctor about a longer taper off the clonazepam once you are stable on cymbalta (duloxetine). ...Read more
