Possibly: Wrist braces could help if the pins and needles are coming from carpel tunnel syndrome cts verse the disc herniation. If the disc herniation is causing the parasthesias, bracing will not help. You need to see someone who can diagnose either cts or radicular symptoms. See your physician: Numbness and tingling in any extremity can be due to many reasons including sitting or standing in the same position for a long time, nerve injury, electrolyte abnormalities, vitamin deficiencies, etc. True weakness with paresthesias would be more concerning. Hyperventilating?: This could be due to hyperventilating - breathing deeply and quickly.
