Folliculitis?: If the problem is limited to hair bearing areas (e.g. the pubic area, scrotum, etc), then probably you have folliculitis (infection of hair follicles, maybe ingrown hairs), especially if you have been shaving the area. If so, stop shaving, keep the area clean and dry, and see what happens. See a doctor if severe (painful, spreading redness, etc), or if no better in a few days. ...Read more
