Fissures: For anal fissures warm water applications and applications of ointments like anusol or nupercain are soothing. Insertion of glycerin rectal suppositories allow easier passage of stools. If you have no urge to have a bowel movement, take senokot daily which has a stool softener and gentle bowel stimulant.
