When I douch it burns why?

Irritation

Douching
Burning is a sign of irritation of the vagina. There may be an irritant in the douch solution. The vaginal lining may be irritated from intercourse. Candida overgrowth in the vagina or bacterial overgrowth may irritate the vaginal wall. Baking soda in water would generally be non-irritating.

What causes burning in inner anklesĀ ?

Nerve irritation

Nerve_injury
If it is both ankles then I would be suspicious for nerve irritation in the low back as the cause. If it is just one side then it could be the back or a local nerve injury (saphenous nerve). This also could be early nerve problems due to diabetes affecting one or both legs.

Dr. Barry Press answered:

How are different degrees of burns different?

See below--

Open-uri20120920-27879-1isytzh
It is better to think of burns as superficial, partial thickness or full thickness--corresponding to 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree. Superficial burns are like a sunburn. Full thickness burns destroy the entire thickness of the skin and cannot heal except by scarring. Partial thickness burns, if shallow, can act like superficial burns. If deep, they will act like full thickness burns.
