WBC-10-20

May be WBC: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, I trust the WBC 10-20 was in urine. If so, it should be repeated with proper urine collection of mid-stream specimen, after cleaning the external genitalia. Your doctor can advise on proper collection technique. Others are okay. ...Read more

Hypothyroidism and high prolactin latest results ft4 <5.2 (9.0-19) ft3 3.00 (2.6-6) TSH 0.03 (0.1-3.5) rt3 <40 (140-540) prolactin 2356 (<500)?

See a specialist.: Your profoundly elevated prolactin level needs to be evaluated, and your thyroid hormone levels are dangerously low. It appears there may be another problem with your pituitary gland, as it is not making TSH appropriately for the low free T4 and low normal free T3 (liothyronine) levels. I would strongly recommend you see an endocrinologist right away. ...Read more

My speram count is
pH - 7.7 , volume - 1.5 ml, Speram concentration - 77 mil/ml, Progressive - 30, Non progressive - 40
, Non motile - 30. Plz check?

Your best option: is to have the results interpreted by your ordering Doctor. The pH and count/concentration seem normal, but the volume seems low and I suspect your motility is low (should be >50% show normal forward movement after 1 hour). Again, your treating physician is best able to discuss the significance of this with you. Good wishes:) ...Read more

Magnesium blood level was 2.5. All other electrolytes normal & normal kidney functioning. Not on any supplements/meds containing mag. Is this bad?

Serum useless: A serum magnesium level is not very helpful. The body keeps serum magnesium under very tight control at the expense of tissue/bone levels. Check an rbc magnesium level instead to get a better picture of tissue levels. Ideal levels in the upper half of reference range. Most people are low. ...Read more
