Can you tell me if i could take reishi, ashwagandha, bacopa, phosphatidylserine together?

Can you tell me if i could take reishi, ashwagandha, bacopa, phosphatidylserine together?

Why????: (sigh) Why are people so willing to do things to their bodies they'd NEVER do to their cars? If a fuel additive sold at Pep Boys had as little evidence of efficacy as these herbals, you'd NEVER trust it in your gas tank. Think critically. Be skeptical. Look at FACTS. Acquire some real knowledge. Don't get taken in by every traveling medicine show or snake-oil salesman that comes down the pike. ...Read more

Is phosphatidylserine a safe and worthwhile supplement to try to improve length and quality of sleep which is now 3 hours on average?

Is phosphatidylserine a safe and worthwhile supplement to try to improve length and quality of sleep which is now 3 hours on average?

Possibly: Ps used to be derived from cow brains, so there was concern about transmitting infections. Now it is usually derived from plants. It has been studied and found to be safe up to 300 mg a day. Over that dose it may actually cause insomnia. It has not been studied for it's efficacy for insomnia. However, I have recommended it for patients who are very stressed and anxious and have had some success. ...Read more

Good bacteria in probiotics rebalance your system. ...Read more

What is your opinion on phosphatidylserine for being more focused?

Too early to tell: Phosphatidylserine is only now being studied for adhd. In general i don't recommend such treatments without better established research and scientific consensus. If you are trying to improve your focus, mindfulness training and meditation would be more effective and have no negative side effects. Popping a pill to improve concentration is not recommended. ...Read more
