Phelgm in throat: You are young for throat cancer unless you chewed a lot of betel nuts. More likely you have sinusitis, allergies with phelgm could try Zyrtec (cetirizine) and see if it helps . May be indolent infection/ sinusitis like mycoplasma for whihc you need antibiotics .Since it is 3 weeks would get it checked out by urgent care/ doctor this week. ...Read more
Allergic rhinitis: Sounds like allergic rhinitis or if you're a smoker then it maybe chronic bronchitis. If you don't smoke, then it can be treated by avoiding allergens, especially pollen dust, and other household triggers or you may see your primary doc and be given a nasal corticosteroid spray which are usually quite effective. ...Read more

Phlegm in throat: Phlegm in the throat associated with throat clearing and heartburn symptoms sounds like acid reflux. Generally treatment would start out with acid avoidance (citrus, tomatoes, peppermint, coffee, peppermint, etc) Acid irritating the throat frequently results in increased mucous and prompts throat clearing. I advise increasing water intake and consider starting an antacid. See your doctor. ...Read more

Cefdinir 600MG and probiotic sinuses draining into throat, cough up white foamy/slimy green mucus. When I swallow after, hear/feel crackle in throat.
Take full course: I'd keep going with the cefdinir it until it's all finished. I am not sure how long you've been taking it but if you are on days 1-7, have faith and keep going. If you have any new fever, or are having additional symptoms after one week on meds, that would be time to return to your doc for re-evaluation. You're on a potent antibiotic, so I bet you'll be feeling better soon. Rest and fluids!! ...Read more

I am surprised that a dentist would make the diagnosis of a virus based on your symptoms. See a physician. ...Read more
